My passion for fishing has lead me to many new friends which is why I love fishing! However my true passion is ice fishing and the pursuit of the beautiful crappie! I am an avid fisherman, who travels across the country in pursuit of all types of fish! Whether it is on the coast chasing red fish, on Lake Michigan battling with salmon and big brown trout, or in my home area in Iowa after freshwater monsters. I am on the water all times of the year! I like to fish on the ice as well, pulling in pan fish, and walleyes through the hardtop. I run a local fishing group, 515fishing, and am the lead organizer of the fishing club at my local high school where I promote the sport to youth.

Hello, my name is Somkith but you can call me "Kit." Fishing is always on my mind. If I'm not casting a line I'm preparing for the next outing, watching a YouTube video, or reading something about fishing. I enjoy fishing for crappie, big gills, catfish, the temperate bass family in Iowa, walleye, perch, and anything through the ice. I've taken a huge liking to kayak fishing. Despite my friends thinking I'm some kind of fish whisperer that catches all the fish, I feel there's always more to learn.
